She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Brooks and Athleen Brooks (Altizer); her brother Rev. Ronald R. Brooks; and her son-in-law Jim Frye. She is survived by: her significant other Jimmie "Jim" Dale Roach; her daughters, Melissa Frye of Logan and Rebecca Lynch (John Jeffrey "JJ"); her grandchildren, Jackson Frye, Griffin Frye of Logan, Annabella Lynch and Grace Lynch of Bloomfield, NJ; and her siblings, Gena Ryan of South Charleston, Robert J. Brooks of Wisconsin, James C. Brooks of Corydon and J. Scott Brooks of Cyclone.
Due to the pandemic, a private funeral will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 1:00pm at Claypool United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Patty and Jim Roach may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
