He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin McCoy and Erma Lee McCoy; his wife Carol Sue McCoy; his son Martin Luther "Bucko" McCoy III; and his siblings, Alfred Murry Cook, Raymond Sylvestor Thompson, Tony Thompson, Tommy Thompson, Laura Faye McCoy and Ruth Ann McCoy.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony McCoy (Tiffany), William Henry and Ann "Margie" Doneff. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
