As we bid Kermit farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kermit is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Sr. Wooten and Lawanda Wooten; and his wife Judith Wooten. He is survived by: his siblings, Vickie Mullins (Jimmy) and Bruce Wooten (Phyllis); his children, Kermit Donald Wooten III (Rebecca), Chrissy Dawn Wooten and Alexandra Donn Raven Varney (Robert Bruce); and his stepsons, Shaun Clay (Mary) and Josh Clay (Tiffany).
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Monahill Memorial Freewill Baptist Church (44 Laurelwood Ln, Logan, WV 25601).
