With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josh David Chafin III of Logan, West Virginia, born in Holden, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2024 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Josh David Chafin and Mable Glen Chafin; his brothers, Jim Chafin and Mike Chafin; and his sister-in-law Kathy Chafin.
He is survived by: his wife Antoinette Chafin; his children, Maristella White (Brandon), Jennifer Holbrook (Andrew), Christina Perry (Daryll), Rachel Blaisdell and Josh Chafin (Amber); his sister Dreama Chafin; his grandchildren, Mariah White, Nathan White, Kristin Flint (Wes), Briana Holbrook (Brian), Kyle Holbrook (Alexis), Ryan Chafin, Chloe Chafin and Lillie Chafin; his great grandchildren, Remington White, Gavin Flint, Kylinn Holbrook, Sterling Holbrook, Mikell Murray and Waylon Cobbs; and his close friends, Bruce Holbrook and Joe Wilson.
Per his wishes his body was donated to Marshall University Medical School.
