He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny David Johnson and Carmel Jean Johnson; his grandparents, Noel Keith, Ella Keith (Hughes), Clyde and Ecie Johnson Sr. (Carroll); and his nephew Trent Duncan.
He is survived by: his daughter Gabrielle Buruato; his sisters, Angela Reese (Patrick) and Kellie Smaidi (Allie); his nephew Tres Duncan (Danielle); and his niece Aylah Duncan.
