He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ed Baisden Sr. and Norma Baisden; his wife Nina Baisden; his son Claude Baisden Sr.; his siblings, Verna Maynard (Cap), Grace Hurley (Dow), Cecil (Naomi), Lucian (Florence), Henderson (Lucille), Denver (Zelpha), Chester (Irma) and Ivan Baisden; his stepmother Georgia Baisden; and his brothers, Dwight Baisden and Robert Baisden (Dolly).
He is survived by: his sons, Dennis and Gregory Baisden of Verdunville; his grandchildren, Sarah Patty (Cebern), Luke Blankenship of Holden, WV, Stephanie Ashley Bledsoe (Charley), Emily Dillon of Ona, WV, Claude Baisden Jr. (Bucky) of Verdunville, WV, Chase Andrew Baisden-Olson and Debbie Olson of Minnesota; his brothers, Jimmy (Linda), Boyd Baisden (OmaLee) of Ohio and Carlos Baisden (Vicki); his niece Debbie Baisden Fields (Bob); his great-niece Brandie Davis-Perry (Ralph) of Verdunville, WV; and his sister-in-law Barb Baisden of South Dakota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
