We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2022, at the age of 85, Jo Ann Fortner of Logan, West Virginia, born in Chapmanville, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Jordan and Martha Godby Jordan; her husband Robert "Bob" "Hoghead" Fortner; her daughter Coral Fortner; and her sisters, Lucille Johnson, Frances Miller and Naomi Chambers.

She is survived by: her children, Martha "Joey" Bias (Mark) of Logan, WV and Robert "Butch" Fortner of Seebert, WV; her grandchildren, Robby Queen of Logan, WV and Leann Ellis (Scott) of Daniels, WV; her great grandchildren, Gracelynn JoAnn Ellis of Daniels and Emma Rose Ellis; her siblings-in-law, Ruth Fortner of Stollings, WV, Ruth Bowery of Charleston, WV, Harvey Miller of Chapmanville, WV and Doran Chambers of Columbus, IN; and also, Scott, Kelli, Sam and Ana Adkins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
