With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Smith formerly of Logan, West Virginia, born in Welch, West Virginia, who passed away on March 30, 2021 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Smith and Mildred Smith (Buchanon); and his brother Henry Smith. He is survived by: his wife Taew Smith; his children, Bart Smith (Tamara) of Perrysburg, OH, Daniel Smith (Crystal) of Beckley and Della Smith (Brian Schaefer) of Macon, GA; his grandchildren, Samantha of Perrysburg, OH, Amber of Perrysburg, OH, Jasmine Smith of Perrysburg, OH, Ezekiel Smith (Madelin) of Fairfax, VA, Christian Smith (S. Marine Corp) and Sawyer Schaefer of Macon, GA; his great grandchildren, Adalynn Smith and Serenity Smith; his brother Eugene Smith Jr. (Ruby); his aunt Deloris Hoosier; and also Danielle Linville. He is also survived by several nieces and cousins along with a host of other relatives and friends.
