He was predeceased by: his parents, Asberry Chrislip and Betty Chrislip (Henderson); his siblings, Rebecca Bias of Steubenville, OH, Connie Henry of Logan, WV and Jack C. Chrislip of Logan, WV; his father-in-law Albert Burgess of Verdunville, WV; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Henry of Logan, WV, Bernie Bias of Steubenville, OH, Cary Ranson of Ripley, WV and Debbie Chrislip.

He is survived by: his wife Lesley Chrislip (Burgess) of Whitman; his son Preston Chrislip of Chapmanville, WV; his mother-in-law Betty Burgess of Verdunville, WV; and his siblings-in-law, Sherrie Hager (David) of Verdunville, WV, Terri Ranson of Ripley, WV and Greg Burgess (Lorri) of Chapmanville, WV. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
