He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Bean" Sherman and Mollie Mae Banks Sherman; and his siblings, Betty Jean Coleman, James Sherman (Josh), Arthur Lee Sherman and Cornelius Sherman.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Sherman (Birchfield); his daughters, Chynna of Logan and Tiana Sherman of Logan; his sisters, Selena Banks of Youngstown, Ohio, Yvonne Jones of Youngstown, Ohio, Patricia Sherman of Youngstown, Ohio and Emma Walker of Youngstown, Ohio; his nieces and nephews, Brandon Blackman, Jaylin Early, Destini and Tyeisha Blackman; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Deontae Dingess, Braydon, Easton Craddock, Kiersten Moxley and Amaya Grace Mae. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
