It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Snooks Watkins (Logan, West Virginia), who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bascom Watkins and Flora Mae Rogers Watkins; and his siblings, Roger Watkins, Gordon Watkins, Henry Watkins, Reece, Hershel Watkins, Herbert Watkins, Faye Owen, Alice McFarland, Mary Hamblin and Eva Hamlin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lucy Kara Shamblin D. O. (Mansford) of Nitro and Katrina Beth Reed (Steven) of Sissonville; his grandchildren, Abigil Watkins (Travis Goodwin), Sarah Reed and Delana Reed; his great grandchild Liam Goodwin; and his sister Molly Smith.
