With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest L. Bevins (Logan, West Virginia), who passed away on August 3, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Bevins and Sadie Bevins; his wife Ilene; his brothers, Irvin, Tom Dick and Estil; and his daughter-in-law Teresa Bevins.
He is survived by: his sons, Gene (Stephanie) of Logan and Larry of Barboursville; his daughter-in-law Sue of Crooked Creek; his grandchild Lauren Cline (Isaac); his great grandchildren, Ernie of Lenoir City, TN, Mable of Lenoir City, TN, Sidney of Lenoir City, TN, Morris of Lenoir City, TN, Kathryn Podunavac (Brian), Rebekah Huff (Jon) and Jonathan Bevins of Pigeon Roost; and also, Annabella, Karson of McConnell and Nolan of Richmond, KY.
The family requests friends of Ernie to respect their wishes for a private service and suggest those wishing to pay their respects do so with memorials to the Central United Baptist Church or the First Presbyterian Church of Logan.
