He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Eiland and Gizella Wilcsek Eiland; his wife Evelyn Gordon Eiland; his son Peter Brill Eiland; and his siblings, Margaret C. Caplan, Irene Eiland, William W. Eiland, Theodore A. Eiland and Frederick S. Eiland.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Morton S. Cohn. He is also survived by nineteen nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
