He is survived by: his sister Kim Smoot (Chris); his nieces and nephews, Jenna, Lucas Smoot of Crooked Creek, Danielle, Kevin Brown of Valatia, NY, Halie, Josh Hall of Pritchard, WV, Kenneth Abbott, Rose Stewart of Columbus, OH, Katrina Chafin, Joe Decker of Whitman, WV, Doug, Kim Chapmen of Martinsburg, WV, Tabitha Spears, Anthony Marcum of West Logan, Marsha Spears, Jeremy Fleming of Henlawson, WV, Scottie Spears, Heather Spry of Ethel, WV, Stevie and Stacy Spears of Logan, WV; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kirsten, Tyler Gannon of Ethel, WV, Taylor Parlow, Tanner, Tucker, Tinsley Spears, Aubrey "Monkey", J. R. Spears, A'lara Spears, JJ Fleming, Malaya Fleming, Timothy Lawrence, Katelyn Brown, Maddison, Dakota, Landon Hall and Gionna Chapman; and also, Sammy and Dean Gannon.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at the Akers-James Funeral Home (400 Main Ave, Logan, WV 25601).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be may to help with the funeral expenses.
