He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Powers; his parents, Aaron Powers and India Powers of Logan, WV; and his former wife Shirley Powers. He is survived by: his children, David Ray, William, Timothy, Angela and Roger. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Nathaniel Mission, or Southern Hills United Methodist Church.
