He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Oooten and Ida Runyon Oooten; his wife Rebecca Pinson Ooten; and the mother of his children Joyce Dillon Ooten Webb. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Kaye Chapman (Jerry) of Hills Creek, WV, Clarence Dwayne Ooten (Monica) of Red Jacket, WV and Okey Wallace Ooten (Debra) of Dayton, OH; and his sisters, Helen McCraw of Warren, MI, Glenda Provo of Hermansville, MI, Ruth Ooten of Royal Oak, MI, Sheila McCoy of Lynn Haven, FL, Debbie Ooten of Kenna, WV, Delores Marcum of Logan, WV and Peggy Ooten of Williamson, WV. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
