He is survived by: his siblings, Etta J Workman, Freda C. Sturgill (Eli), Rosa M Adams (David), Roy L "Butch" Watkins (Anita "Sue") and Thomas J. "Bear" Watkins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
