She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Greenlee and Rosalind Taylor; and her grandmother Mattie Lee Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Franklin Newsome; her children, Samia Lynn Justice, Dion Dan Greenlee and Laetitia Ann Greenlee; and her grandchildren, Cameron Justice, Caden Justice, Akeelah Greenlee, Ariana Greenlee, Bryson Workman, Ma'Kiyah Greenlee, Briell Daniels, Gabriel Daniels and Za'vion Greenlee.
