He was predeceased by: his parents, Hezz Mitchell and Mildred Mitchell; and his siblings, Jerry, Larry, James, Barbara and Joyce.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Jane Mitchell of Logan, WV; his children, Kathy Jo Willis (Chris) of Logan, WV, Christopher Mitchell of Logan, WV, Michael Tomblin of Logan, WV and Charles Matthew Mitchell (Sarah) of South Charleston, WV.; his nephews, Michael and Musco Adams; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Mitchell of Baltimore, MD and Lucille Mitchell of North Dakota. He is also survived by his four grandchildren and many dear cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (200 Main St, Logan, WV 25601).
