He is survived by: his wife Jewell Harvey Field; his daughters, Ashley Field Hartsell (Jacob) of Cary, NC and Stephanie Field Adams (Stephen) of Apex, NC.; and his grandsons, Samuel Parker Adams and William DeVere Hartsell.
