He was predeceased by: his parents, Easter Day (Newsome) and Claude Bryant George Sr.; and his siblings, Hobert Day Sr., Claude George, Beliva Blankenship and Brenda Sue Maynard.
He is survived by: his son Justin George; his siblings, Clyde Akers (Kay) of Holden, Betty Carter (Bill) of Holden, Linda Evans (Leslie) of Logan and Donetta Allen (Roosevelt) of Logan; his grandsons, Zachary and Cody George of Logan; his nieces and nephews, Joshua Allen of Logan, Amber Workman (Roger) of Belfry, KY, Jay Stewart of Logan, Sambo Browning of Logan, Matt Carter (Jodi) of Mitchell Heights, Brian Akers (April) of Holden, Clyde Jr. (KO) of Monaville and Bradley Akers (Denise) of Aracoma; his great-nephews, Brandon and Joshua Akers of Aracoma; his niece Kristen Akers (Austin) of West Logan; and his close friends, Kathy and Jeannie Street. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
