He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Jackson and Olive Cox (Mullins); and his brother Ronald Cox. He is survived by: his wife June Cox (Jourdan); his children, Billy Ray Cox Jr. (Shirley) and Paula Adams (Keith); and his sister Barbara Jean Mitchell (Bob). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Billy's honor to the Alzheimer's Association of WV, 1601 2nd Ave, Charleston, WV 25387.
