He was predeceased by: his parents, George Garretson and Laura Garretson (Lilly); and his siblings, Nate, Tom, Jack, Frank Garretson and Joann McClung.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Gwinn Garretson; his sons, William Garretson (Rachelle) of Lockbridge, Jerry Ennis (Tina) of Springdale and Johnny Ennis (Shelby) of Meadow Bridge; his brother Samuel Garretson of Coal City; and his grandchildren, Nikita, Gabriel Garretson, Jessica Ennis, Jeremy, Jason Ennis and Natasha Fox (Robert). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
