It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Cox of Lockbridge, West Virginia, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Maude Meadows and Tincher; her husband Homer Cox; her siblings, Richard, Sonnie, Teddy Meadows, Mae Ayers, Nina Shuck, Edna Sanford, Frances Carden, Maude Smith and Loveda Hall; her children, Robert Cox and Lyndia Wyandt of Lockbridge; and her grandson Wesley Wyandt (Rachel) of Fairmont. She was also cherished by extended family and friends.
