He is survived by: his wife Anita Carder; his sons, Gary Carder, Jr. (Carolyn) of Burnsville, WV, Tim Carder (Angie) of Linn, WV and John Carder (Roberta) of Linn, WV.; his nieces, Ashley Randolph (Craig) and Amber Hitt (Wayne); his nephew Greg Hitt; his stepdaughter Trisha Anderson (Jason) of Buckhannon, WV.; and his siblings, Debbie Rice (Roger), Maxine Perry and Larry Carder of Glenville, WV..
