He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Gordon Robinson and Alma Bivens Robinson; his son Neil Lee; his brother Larry Robinson; and his aunt Betty Rivard.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue; his children, Melissa Carol Thompson (Keith) of Charleston, WV, Amy B. Robinson of Urbana, MD and William Andrew Robinson of Lewisburg; and his grandchildren, Alayna, Allison, Emmy and Ashlie.
