He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Velma Williams Heaster; his wife Geneva Adline Goins Heaster; his brothers, Roy and Frank; and his stepson Steve Goins.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter-in-law Brenda Goins of Smoot; his stepchildren, Eddie Goins (Kathy) of Alderson, Stella Hedrick (David) of Cornstalk, Peanut Goins (Marsha) of Lugoff, SC and Darlene Cutlip (Curtis) of Crawley; and his brothers, Bill of Weston and John (Jean) of Crawley. He is also survived by many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews.
