She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Brown Deaver and Basil Dillon; and her husband W. G. "Sonny" Burns. She is survived by: her children, Karen Callen of Lewisburg, WV, Cynthia Vodenik (Scottie) of Laurinburg, NC and William G. Burns of Felton, Delaware; her grandchildren, Steven Callen, Jacob Callen (Courtney) of Morgantown, WV, Mike Burns, Sara Burns of Lewisburg, Caitlyn Heglar and Chad Heglar of Johnson City, TN; and her great grandchildren, Marley Hopson, Liam Burns, Collins Callen and Jacobi Callen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home (252 Montvue Dr, Lewisburg, WV 24901). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
