We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2021, at the age of 85, Mary Carol Elmore of Lewisburg, West Virginia, born in Hinton, West Virginia passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Byers and Ruby Spade Byers; her former husband Robert Cales; her daughter Karen Moriarty; and her siblings, Janice Bennett and James Byers.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Elmore; her son-in-law Patrick Moriarty; her grandchildren, Ian Patterson (Michelle) of Lexington, VA and Sarah Patterson of Indianapolis, IN; her stepchildren, Terry Elmore (Dana) of Parkville, MD, Tom Elmore (Ann) of Covington, VA and Tammy Sauzedde (Josa Mario) of Fern Park, FL; and her pet Peanut. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and seven step-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews.
