She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Richardson and Vivian Musgrave Richardson; and her brother John Richardson. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Laufer; her daughter Anne Brewster of Alexandria, VA; her son-in-law Robert Rayome of Alexandria, VA; her son Chris Brewster of Los Angeles, CA; her siblings, Jacqueline R. Bennett of Lewisburg, WV, Dr. Tom Richardson of Bluefield, WV and C. J. Richardson of Vienna, VA; and her grandchildren, Barclay, Kendall and Travis Rayome. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
