It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Virginia Walker of Lewisburg, West Virginia, born in Gap Mills, West Virginia, who passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Frank Brown and Mary Ella Peyton Brown; her husband Charles B. "Ted" Walker; her sons, Richard Walker, Charles Allen and Greg Allen; her sisters, Martha Johnson and Roberta Wilmer; her great grandchild Marinna Allen; and her nephew James Green.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeanette Walker of Lewisburg; her goddaughter Julie Shepperson; her grandchildren, Tiffany Allen, Charles Walker, Frankie Walker, Courtney Hoke, Brieanna Allen, Ilena Hoke, Payton Hoke, Jasmine Allen and Edith Allen; and her sisters, Anna Thomas of Fort Worth, TX and Rose Harris of Huntington, WV. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
