He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis R. Griffith and Virgie Kincaid Griffith; his former wife Mary Padgett Griffith; his wife Joann Linsky Griffith; and his siblings, Fredrick G. and Pauline Carter.
He is survived by: his siblings, Regina May Brown of Covington, VA and Guy D. Griffith of Lewisburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
