He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Nickell Richmond; his son David Richmond (Mary) of Lewisburg; his great grandchildren, Bryce, Jocelyn, Zander Spivey, Bria and Silas Geide; and his brother Jack Richmond of Roanoke, VA..
Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held at the Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg, with Pastors Tim Halloran, Bev Colombo, and intern Tyler Bland officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Lewisburg United Methodist Church (1133 East Washington Street, Lewisburg, WV 24901) or Kanawha HospiceCare, Inc., 1265 Maplewood Ave., Lewisburg, WV 24901.
