He was predeceased by: his mother Wilda Kay Johnson Nicely; his stepfather Lloyd Nicely; and his siblings, Edward Baldwin, James Nicely, Nina Lewis, Bernice Sergeant and Sally Nicely.
He is survived by: his wife Ireta McMillion Johnson; his daughters, Darlene Wright (Donald), Diana Johnson and Donna Johnson; his grandson Justin Thomas; and his great grandchild Isaiah Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home (252 Montvue Dr, Lewisburg, WV 24901). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
