She was predeceased by: her father F. C. Coffman; her husband Maynard B. Hayes; and her siblings, Ova Coffman, Margaret Lee Stone, Laura Davis and Floyd Clark Coffman Jr..
She is survived by: her mother Margaret Gray Piercy Coffman; her children, Maynard Lee Hayes and Alda Gray Gross (Steve) of Lewisburg, WV; her grandchildren, Carrie Childers (Charlie Lilly) of Lewisburg, WV and Dustin Childers (Jeanne); and her great grandchildren, Breck, Cole, Peyton Keadle, Raina and Wyatte Childers. She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
