It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Whitt of Lewisburg, West Virginia, born in Ronceverte, West Virginia, who passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olbert Whitt and Beulah Belle Cornwell Whitt; his former wife Peggy Myles Whitt; his brothers, Donald, Danny, Doug and Doyle Whitt; and his sister-in-law Dreama Whitt.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Whitt; his children, Jeremy Duane Whitt of Lewisburg, WV and Hope Marie Whitt of Asheville, NC; his stepchildren, Robert Hunt (Samantha) of Georgia, Patrick Noah McCutcheon, Carmen Hunt (Samuel Garner) of Lewisburg, WV, Jenna Leigh McCutcheon of Lewisburg, WV and Kelli Noelle McCutcheon of Lewisburg, WV; his siblings, Dale Whitt (Debbie), Dona Lilly (Paul) of Frankford, WV, Danetta Whitt, Danita Moore (Dave), Donna Shortridge (James) and Deanna Whitt; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Whitt of Lewisburg, WV and Vicki Whitt of Lewisburg, WV. He is also survived by four step grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
