It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Hayes of Lewisburg, West Virginia, born in Philippi, West Virginia, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvill "Chuck" Edens and Betty Haddix Edens; her siblings, Mary Marteney (Jerry) and Calvin Edens (Elizabeth); her sister-in-law Adonis Edens; and her nephews, John and Allen Edens.
She is survived by: her husband Joe B. Hayes Jr.; her stepson Joe B. Hayes III; her brother John Edens; her nieces, Barbara Gordon Teresa (Richard) and Tracy Roth (Kevin); her great-nephew Tyler Gordon (Ashley); and also Oliver Wayne Gordon.
