He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry A. McCormick and Mary Catherine McCormick; his daughter Valerie McCormick-Vance; and his siblings, Harry (Bob), John McCormick, Jane Dillon, June Turner, Phyllis Crickenburger and Bette Bloodworth.

He is survived by: his wife Sue B. McCormick; his children, Dirk McCormick of Union, Billy McCormick (Mindy) of Lewisburg, Rob McCormick (Tammy) of Wolf Creek, Marshall Williams, Jr., Linda Stone (Chuck) of Organ Cave and Leta McCormick of Sinks Grove; his grandchildren, Heather Ratliff (John), Stevie Vance (Jamie), Brandon McCormick (Cassie), Derek McCormick (Kasey), Mary Beth Hinkle, Becky McCormick (Justin), Sammi Hoke (Dylan), Jake Reynolds (Ally), Sheila Williamson and Tammy Dowdy; his great grandchildren, Alyssia Ratliff, Adria Ratliff, Calli McCormick, Saydi McCormick, Jace Hoke, Jaxtyn Rookstool, Ava Hinkle, Lilly Hinkle, Austin Dilly and Abby Dilly; his siblings, Sue Gillette (Cecil) and Lewis McCormick; and his nephews, John and Don Turner.
