With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard W. Shifflett of Lewisburg, West Virginia, born in Cass, West Virginia, who passed away on December 13, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Warren Shifflett and Mary Ellen Hamrick Shifflett; his wife Ruth Hill Shifflett; his daughter Elaine Shifflett; and his siblings, Susan Nadine Haislip, Mary Imogene Minnix, Jesse Warren Shifflett, Jr. and Donald Wilmont Shifflett.
He is survived by: his son Bernie Shifflett of Maryland; and his grandchildren, Matthew Shifflett and Sarah Shifflett.
In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Jim and Ruth Shiflett.
