It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Augusta Virginia Hefner (Lewisburg, West Virginia), born in Maxwelton, West Virginia, who passed away on May 9, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Melvin Dunn, Sr. and Nancy Ada Loudermilk Dunn; her husband Robert O. Hefner, Sr.; and her siblings, June Darlington, Hazel McKnight and Virgil "Jack" Dunn, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Randy Hefner (Patricia) of Apex, NC, Debra Sammons (Lloyd) of Reedsburg, WI and Robert Hefner, Jr. (Dyan) of Frankford, WV; her grandchildren, Sean, Joshua, Robbi, Nathaniel and Elizabeth; her siblings-in-law, Brownie Dunn and Calvin Hefner; and her cousin Marty Burns. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to covid-19 restrictions, services will be limited to the immediate family and close church members.
