She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Preston and Nannie Mary McCoy Kershner; her husband Elmer H. Simmons; her son James Simmons; and her siblings, Sterling, Bland, Wallace, Clyde, Roy, John Kershner, Verdie May, Grace Stangeland, Zeda Dower and Hazel Cochran. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
