It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ada Faye Yates of Lewisburg, West Virginia, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Dewey and Mae Etta Henson Harvey; her husband Nelson Yates; and her siblings, Betty Breland, Hattie Christian and Bill Harvey.
She is survived by: her son Dwight Yates; her granddaughters, Wanda Sparks (George Jr.) and Crystal Ferguson (Chester Jr.); her great grandchildren, Talena Justice (Joshua Tunstalle) and Shalonda Hoke (Dustin); and her great great grandchildren, Skylin, Ember and Buxton Hoke.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home (252 Montvue Dr, Lewisburg, WV 24901). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
