It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Platter of Levels, West Virginia, born in Martinsburg, West Virginia, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis J. Emerick and Theresa F. Emerick (Barrett); her husband Marvin D. Platter; and her siblings, Melvin R. Emerick and Doris I. Emerick.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne D. Jacques (Krystal), Tammy W. Butts (Denny), Diana L. Carr (Larry) and Mary A. Griffin (Roger, Jr.); her grandchildren, Christopher, Colton, Ashley (Mike), Brittany (Ryan), Taylor, Emily, Ryan, Tyler, Tabitha, Sabrina, Ian and Eli; and her siblings, Paul, Roger, Charles, James, Rick Emerick, Janet Ringer and Brenda Morales. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
