She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Stone and Isabel Stone (Welling); her husband Thomas Lewis Sayre; her son Gary Lee Sayre; her brothers, Jay Dwight Stone and James Edison Stone; and her grandson Matthew David Sayre.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Thomas Sayre (Jennifer) of Fredericksburg, VA and Carla Renee Sayre of Letart, WV; her grandchildren, Carl Thomas Sayre, Jay Michael Sayre, Evan Robert Grady, Elijah Nicholas Grady and Hannah Renee Sayre; and her brothers, Elmer Stone of Leon, WV and Roger Stone of Letart. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home (2226 Jackson Ave, Point Pleasant, WV 25550). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
