She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Bennett and Genevieve Bennett (Hall); the father of her children Ronnie Hanshaw; and her children, David Hanshaw and Donna Hanshaw.

She is survived by: her son Douglas Hanshaw; her granddaughters, Lisa Tomes and April Schramm; her great grandchildren, Mariah, Michael, Bianca, William and Robby; her great great grandchild Gracie; her brother Emil Bennett (Sharon); her niece Tammy; her nephew Todd; and her friend Shirley Lynch.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Dodd & Reed Funeral Home to assist with funeral costs.
