We bid farewell to Armilda Adkins of Letart, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 3, 2025 at the age of 88. Armilda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bradshaw and Nancy Gilkerson Bradshaw; her husband Ovvie Adkins; her sons, James Adkins and Michael Adkins; her grandson Chris Adkins; and her siblings, Louise McCallister, Erma Adkins, Ruby Nicely, Juanita Bradshaw, Paul Gilkerson, Okey Bradshaw, Homer Bradshaw, Johnny Bradshaw and Charlie Golden Bradshaw.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Lipscomb (Charles) of Letart, Angela Perry (Keith) of Proctorville and Joseph Adkins (Vickie) of Hurricane; her grandchildren, Jon (Nicole), Erika (Tim), Aleisha, Drew, Diana, Allyson, Tara, Mikayla, Daniel, Jaime, Joey, Justin, Jessie and Michael; and her great grandchildren, Hailey, Landen, Maddie, Khloe, Peyton, Eli, Arabellah, Sawyer, Lillian and Adreanna. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Johnson Tiller Funeral Home (10030 WV-152, Wayne, WV 25570).
