He is survived by: his brother Ernie; his brother-in-law Dwarfus Permelia; his wife Mary Sawyers; his daughter Dreama Fritz (Eric) of Fayetteville, WV; his grandson Steven Sawyers (Coty); his great grandchildren, Stella, Bowen, Madilyn Bodkin and Isaiah Sawyer Lively; his daughter Christi Shiflett (Rick) of Denton, TX; his grandchildren, Delanie and Preslie; his great grandchild Kimberly McManaway (Terry) of Fayetteville, WV; his siblings, Elroy Sawyers, Sandra Kay Cochran and Joyce Permelia; his caregivers, Andy and Tanoiya Swain (Big); his brother Sam; and also, Chloe and Blaine.
A reception was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rose and Quesenberry (1901 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801). Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Beckley Peace Chapel (1901 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801).
Family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Rose and Quesenberry to be used for final expenses.
