She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lawrence and Grace Mariah Hamilton Cain; her husband Lester Vernon "John" Newbrough; her children, Catherine Fairy Newbrough and John Lawrence Newbrough; her siblings, Howard, Gordon, Christy, Clyde Cain, Virginia Morgan and Violet Cottrill; and her grandson Guido Newbrough.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Newbrough (Heidi) of Manassas, Virginia, Lowell Newbrough (Linda) of Mannington, Judy Garland (James) of Worthington and Jeff Newbrough (Christine) of Monongah; and her grandchildren, Kathern Pellegrin (Richard) of Fairmont, Debbie Ross (Bernard) of Mill Fall, Sam Newbrough (Brenda) of Worthington, Doug Newbrough (Elizabeth) of Mannington, David Garland (Annette) of Mill Fall, Edward Garland (Julie) of Worthington, Chrystal Tomblyn (Seth) of Winston-Salem, James Newbrough (Michelle) of Manassas, Virginia, Nicole Newbrough of Monongah and Amber Newbrough of Fairmont. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.
