He is survived by: his children, Judy Faye Murphy of Milton, WV and Jerry Ray Short (Annetta) of Glenwood, WV; his sister Connie Spurlock of Glenwood, WV; his grandchildren, Tamatha Short, Ivan Matthew Short, Angie Gue, Jeoffrey Short, Alisha Murphy, Ashley Short and Jessetta Short; his great grandchildren, Thomas Jeoffrey Short, Megan Miles, Harley Short, Braxi Benson, Casey Benson and Dexton Perkins; and his great great grandchild Atlas Short.
