He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Andrew DeWeese and Pearl Deweese (Herdman); his wife Anna M. DeWeese (Smith); his children, Karen Matheny, Angela Hatcher, Ronnie L. DeWeese and Warren "Pudge" DeWeese; and his siblings, Millard DeWeese, Gerrell DeWeese, Geraldine Rice, Iva Morrison and Lorene DeWeese.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna M.; his son-in-law David Warner of Leon; his siblings, Linda Matheny of Columbus, OH and Jerome DeWeese (Judy) of Columbus; and his nephews, Darrell Morrison (Betty) of Leon and Jerry DeWeese of Leon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
